Special conditions
- Must be Omani Must be at least 18 years old Must be a resident of coastal wilayats The fishing area is determined based on the applicant’s governorate (permanent address registered with the Royal Oman Police) Must be unemployed Must be registered with the Social Protection Fund Must not have a previous license (unless it has been cancelled) Must be medically fit Must pass the test with a score of (80%) Reapplication is allowed within one week from the last failed attempt, and only once (for the same season)
