Get Approval to Register Taxi Plate
This service enables you to get the Ministry approval to register a taxi plate before completing the process with the Royal Oman Police.

Before you start
- If the vehicle is not orange and white: copy of the taxi operator contract
- Copy of non-conviction certificate
- If the vehicle registration is not issued yet: vehicle registration request from the dealership, or the customs card
- Copy of the vehicle registration (ownership)
- For government sector employees: Recent salary certificate or proof of income
- For private sector employees: Registration statement from the Public Authority for Social Insurance
- - For job seekers: Proof of job seeker status from the Ministry of Labour

Special conditions
- You must be between 21 and 60 years old. The Ministry may approve some cases as an exception after reviewing the application.
- Your salary certificate must be issued by your employer within the last 3 months.
- Make sure the vehicle is suitable for the intended commercial activity.
- Check the Executive Regulations of the Land Transport Law to make sure you meet the requirements.
