Special conditions
- Her marriage must have taken place with prior approval from the Ministry. This condition does not apply to someone whose marriage took place before her husband obtained Omani citizenship
- To have a son from her Omani husband
- Her marriage to the Omani man and her legal, continuous residence with him in Oman must have elapsed for a period of not less than (10) ten years, and her absence during one year for a period not exceeding sixty (60) days does not preclude her being considered continuous
- To be conversant in spoken Arabic
- She must have good conduct and behavior
- She must not have been convicted of a felony or a crime against honor or trust, unless she has been rehabilitated
- She must acknowledge in writing her desire to renounce the citizenship of the country she holds, and provide evidence that its law allows her to do so
